OER Stipend Program for Low/No-Cost Course Materials

The University of North Alabama is re-launching its OER stipend program to support faculty who replace high-cost textbooks with low- or no-cost materials (under $50).
Eligible courses may receive a one-time stipend, as funding allows:
$400 for General Education courses
$300 for non-Gen Ed courses
To qualify, faculty must offer the course for at least one semester, submit updated syllabi reflecting the OER changes, and agree to have the course designated as low/no-cost in Banner. Each course may only receive a stipend once.
Applications should be submitted using the OER Application Form on the UNA OER website (https:/www.una.edu/oer).
