PHI BETA SIGMA Interest Meeting

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity announces its new membership drive for Spring 2026. There will be an Interest Meeting at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in Room 200 of the G.U.C. The recommended attire is semi-formal or professional/business apparel.

Phi Beta Sigma welcomes enrolled male students at UNA to attend this Interest Meeting to learn more information or to submit an application form (available). Qualifications are having an overall GPA of 2.50 and a UNA GPA of 2.50 or better, and not having affiliation with any other social Greek-letter organization. Also, a non-Hazing contract is required to be signed. There are no requirements involving nationality, religion or race for membership.

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity is a social/service organization of professional and collegiate men around the world. It was founded at Howard University in Washington, DC in January 1914. Its official motto is “Culture for Service and Service for Humanity”. Its founding principles are Service, Scholarship, and Brotherhood. It is unique in having an official, constitutionally-bound relationship with a Sorority: Zeta Phi Beta. The local chapter at the University of North Alabama received recognition on campus in 2010, and is recognized for its excellence at the GUC Wall of Honor.
