UNA Bookstore Fully Cashless as of 1/05/2026

Dear UNA Community,

We would like to share an important update regarding the University of North Alabama Bookstore. Beginning January 5, 2026, the bookstore will transition to a fully cashless payment system.
This change is part of our ongoing effort to improve efficiency, enhance checkout speed, and provide a more secure and convenient shopping experience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Accepted payment methods will include:

• Credit and debit cards
• Lion Loot
• Mobile payment options (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)
• Other approved digital payment platforms

Please note that cash will no longer be accepted at the bookstore after the transition date. We encourage all shoppers to plan ahead and ensure they have access to an accepted payment method. We will still accept checks.
