Updated Information for 2026 Thanksgiving Break

Beginning with the 2026–2027 academic year, the University will replace the traditional one-day fall break in October with two additional holiday closure days on Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving week. This adjustment allows UNA to close for the full week of Thanksgiving and aligns our schedule with the prevailing practice at most universities.
This change was recommended by the Council of Academic Deans and approved by the Executive Council. The updated fall 2026 academic calendar is available on the UNA website.
